Rick Murphy

Rick Murphy serves as Executive Vice President of Berthel Fisher Companies. He joined the firm in 1995 as Director of Sales & Marketing for its equipment finance subsidiary and has held numerous leadership positions over the past three decades, including Vice President, Senior Vice President, and President of Berthel Fisher & Company Financial Services, Inc., Securities Management and Research.

Rick’s primary responsibilities include due diligence and product promotion for alternative investment offerings, including REITs, oil and gas programs, real estate investments, and investment banking offerings for the broker-dealer. He also serves on the firm’s Representative Review, Disciplinary, Risk, and Investment Committees.

Rick has served on the boards of ADISA and the IPA and currently serves on the editorial board of Real Assets Advisor magazine. He attended Texas Christian University and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 65, and 79 licenses.

Outside of work, Rick enjoys golfing and spending time with his grandsons.
